Job Description

A leading Irish retailer based in Dublin 22 is seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing team. The Finance Manager will oversee the day to day responsibilities of the finance function and will report to the Financial Controller. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take on a challenging role in a busy environment. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years' industry experience. The salary on offer is very attractive depending on experience with plenty of opportunity for career progression within the company.

Salary: €65,000 - €70,000 (Depending on experience)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AR, AP, and Banking functions
  • Accounts preparation
  • Monitor cashflow on a daily basis
  • Ensure best terms are achieved from suppliers
  • Ensure supplier payments are kept up to date and in line with terms
  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts
  • Adhere to deadlines
  • Prepare year-end accounts and control the Audit process
  • Assist in the preparation of Company-wide reporting
  • Weekly and monthly Sales & Operational reports
  • Daily measurement of Gross Margin
  • Drive the Inventory Cycle Count process
  • Ensure that the year-end Stock Count is conducted in a manner agreeable with the Auditors
  • Set up systems for analysing and assessing expenditure and costs across the Company
  • Ensure that all customer queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
  • Engage with, and provide support to, all Business Units, insofar as it affects the finances of the business



Minimum Requirements

  • Fully qualified Accounting Qualification (eg ACCA / CIMA / CPA etc)
  • Minimum of 5 years' PQE in industry
  • Experience in managing a busy finance department
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Microsoft Dynamics/NAV experience a distinct advantage
